Wildfires:

Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Obey official evacuation orders.

  • Sign up for AC Alert, the County’s emergency notification service.

  • Leave your phone turned on so you can be alerted, even if you are sleeping.

  • Review your household’s evacuation zone at Zonehaven. Officials will use these zones they need to share evacuation instructions.

  • Put your go-bag by the front door.

  • Make sure to plan at least two routes away from your neighborhood.

Helpful Numbers:

  • Call 311 if you see a downed tree that is blocking the public right of way, be it a sidewalk or roadway. If a tree falls on private property, residents should contact a tree service contractor.

  • Call 911 and PG&E (1-800-743-5000) if you come across a downed power line. Always presume the wire is still energized, Do not touch it. More info is here.
